Web Page Design Alternatives
So, you're thinking about promoting your business on the World Wide Web and you're looking for ideas.
You're also trying to determine whether you want to do it yourself or have someone else build the web site for you. There is no doubt you could do it yourself. There are certainly enough on-line resources available. But, do you really want to spend the time out of your busy schedule to do this? Probably not.
This is where we come in. We provide our customers an alternative to do-it-yourself without the extreme financial burden. You decide what you want and how much you want to pay.
|
Fixed Costs
Domain Name Registration: This is a $70 cost and will cover the use of your company's domain namee.g. 4csons.com for two years. After those two years, the cost is $35 per year. The startup fee can be paid through your Internet Service Provider or directly to Internic with a check, money order or online/phone with a major credit card. We can research available domain names for you.
Internet Service: This cost varies, depending on where you get your service. Actual geographic location has little bearing on an internet service providera local phone number is necessary to keep phone costs down. If you have a company you would prefer to use, I will gladly investigate their services. Remember, usually, you get what you pay for.

Rates
This is where you find the "bottom line." Our rates are flexible, low and completely dependent on what you want done for your web site.
We believe that web pages should be kept simple. The fancier "bells and whistles" only slow down the display of your page and discourage viewers. Thus, the rates below do not include these types of programming. Shopping carts, Java and CGI scripting are available - rates will vary.

Maintenance Plans
Even if your business does not have a constantly changing inventory it is a good idea to change your web site monthly. This gives your customers a reason to return to your site and it also triggers the search engines to revisit your site.
New inventory, the latest product information, or a monthly newsletter are some of the ways to breathe new life into your web site every month.
A maintenance plan is available to update the Web Site on a monthly basis. The paid-in-advance yearly plan includes resubmitting your web site to the search engines on a monthly basis. This is recommended to maintain a good web presence. You can also choose to pay by the change.
